Matthew Paul Butler
Matthew Paul Butler's music is equal parts delicacy and anarchy — indie neo-folk soul rock — emotional and musical nuance and egress.
Charles Walker
Charles Walker
Boone, NC-based artist Charles Walker, 19, blends alt-country and folk influences (Jason Isbell, Wilco) with darker influences (Julien Baker, Songs: Ohia) to create a blend of dark and honest southern songwriting. After reinventing his sound and essentially starting over in late 2017, his first EP is due out in December, with a tour to follow.
Evel Arc
Evel Arc
Rivertown collective's Evel Arc sings about a dark, lonely existence where hell is eternity and life is a dream. He got his start singing in the Pentecostal church as a youth. This dark folk rock narrative shines light on all the unattractive human qualities that make us all unique and special. Evel Arc's sound has been compared to Bonnie Prince Billy and Lambchop.
